Cà phê 6ix° was founded by six college friends who reunited in Vietnam after two decades. Inspired by the country’s rich coffee culture, they brought the bold, authentic flavors of Vietnamese coffee to India—creating a café where friendship, culture, and connection are always on the menu.

Caphe 6ix Degrees was born not just out of a love for coffee, but out of friendship.

Our story

Our story began when six engineering college friends  reunited in Hoi An, Vietnam, after nearly two decades apart. One of us had been living in Vietnam for nine years and invited the group to experience the country’s rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and, of course, its legendary coffee.

From bustling street-side stalls to artfully designed cafés, we were captivated by how deeply coffee is woven into the fabric of Vietnamese life. Each café had its own charm, and every cup told a story—whether it was the bold cà phê sữa đá, the smooth cold brew, or the surprising sweetness of Vietnam’s famous egg coffee.

It was over one such cup of egg coffee that a casual remark sparked something bigger:
 "This is amazing… why don’t we take this taste to India?"

That spark, combined with the passion of our friend already skilled as a barista in Vietnam, turned into the idea of bringing authentic Vietnamese coffee culture to India. Just like the strong and bold flavor of Vietnamese coffee, our friendship gave us the perfect foundation to start something meaningful together.

And so, Cà phê 6ix° was born—a café built on bonds of friendship, inspired by Vietnam’s rich coffee traditions, and crafted to connect people.

The name itself carries this spirit:

  • “Caphe” is the Vietnamese word for coffee, a nod to our roots.
  • “6ix Degrees” reflects both our circle of Six friends and the idea of human connection from the “six degrees of separation” theory.

At Cà phê 6ix°, we believe coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s a way to brew bonds. Our mission is to share the authentic taste of bold, flavorful Vietnamese coffee with the youth of India, creating a space where friendships thrive, ideas spark, and memories are made.

Handpicked from Vietnam’s Finest Regions

Our Vietnamese coffee journey begins in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, specifically Đắk Lắk and Lâm Đồng — regions globally respected for producing bold, high-quality coffee beans.

For our Vietnamese coffee menu, we carefully select authentic, premium Robusta beans, known for their:

  • Strong body
  • Bold character
  • Deep, lingering taste

These beans form the soul of high quality Vietnamese coffee we serve.

Thoughtful Processing & Roasting

Quality is shaped long before roasting. We work closely with select partner farms to source:

  • Honey Natural
  • Honey Dark Roasted beans

This process preserves natural sweetness, enhances depth, and creates a smoother yet powerful cup — a signature that defines our Vietnamese coffee range.

Espresso with Precision & Balance

For our espresso-based drinks, we use a refined blend of high grade Arabica and premium Robusta sourced from Chikmagalur . Its quality is exceptional, known for its rich aroma, smooth taste, mild acidity, and unique spicy notes from the iron-rich soil.

This blend is crafted to deliver:

  • Rich crema
  • Balanced acidity
  • Strong finish — perfect for milk-based and classic espresso drinks

Every blend is tested, refined, and approved before reaching our café.

Quality Control Starts at the Farm

We don’t just buy beans — we travel to farms. Before drying, processing, or roasting begins, we personally:

  • Inspect coffee plants
  • Handpick cherry fruits
  • Evaluate size, ripeness, and density

This hands-on approach allows us to maintain strict quality standards while supporting farmers who focus on producing high-grade beans, not just high volumes.

A Personal Coffee Journey

Behind Cà phê 6ix° is our co-founder Gp, a coffee connoisseur who has been living in Ho Chi Minh City and well traveled across Vietnam for over 10 years.

Living in Vietnam shaped his understanding of coffee — not as a trend, but as a culture, a daily ritual, and a craft.
